At St Catherine’s you have so many choices when it comes to room types so you can find the right room to suit your needs. Our Studio rooms are perfect if you would like a bit more independence. All our rooms are semi-furnished and professionally serviced weekly. Just bring your own linen and anything else you need to make your room home.

Our Standard Studios are perfect for older students who want a combination of easy access to campus, independent living and the lively, communal atmosphere of the Dining Hall.

The rooms are larger and include an ensuite bathroom and a cleverly designed kitchenette. The rooms are light-filled and provide good views in all directions.

About our new buildings

Located at Curtin University’s Bentley Campus in Perth, St Catherine’s College opened in February 2022.

This state-of-the-art, premier residential accommodation is designed with best-practice global, collegiate living in mind. We are delighted to invite you to join other residents from around Australia and the world to live and learn in our amazing College.

With more than 70 years of experience in running a successful College at the University of Western Australia, St Catherine’s will now operate on two campuses at two different universities.

How are rooms allocated?

Standard Studio Rooms are primarily for residents who wish to have more independence at university.

The senior staff are responsible for the allocation of rooms. A variety of factors will be taken into account when placing residents in accommodation areas. These include availability, seniority, academic needs and community considerations.

Room features

Your weekly rent also includes:

  • Minimum of 7 meals shared in the impressive College Dining Hall (you can select 14 or 21 meals if you wish)

  • Room size 16.5 m2 + 3.3m2 (balcony options available)

  • Single King bed

  • A study desk and chair

  • Desk lamp and bedside lamp

  • Ensuite bathroom (shower, basin and toilet)

  • Kitchenette (basin, microwave, hotplate and fridge/freezer)

  • Built-in cupboards and shelving

  • Reverse cycle air-conditioning

  • Secure entry

  • Wired and Wireless Internet connections

  • Utilities included

  • Your room is professionally cleaned once a week

  • Shared laundry facilities

  • Communal facilities are professionally cleaned every weekday
